Messinia enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with long hot summers and short mild winters. Average temeraures during Spring is 25-27C, during Summer 34-36C (max.39-40C) and during Autumn 30-32C. Each season has its own particular charm.

It’s excellent beach weather all summer long and the sea is lovely and warm. The average temperature of the water during Spring is around 17C, during Summer 25C and during Autumn 22C.  Since the local vegetation consists of Mediterranean scrub, olive trees, eucalyptus, cypresses and citrus trees, the countryside is always green in summer as well as in winter.
