The newest of just a handful of golf courses in Greece is the Bay Course at Costa Navarino. The site sits on rolling coastal hills, littered with olive trees and other native vegetation and also has few flat spots, though is still a walkable routing. Τhe highlight of the course is the handful of bayside holes that bring the calm waters and beach into play, though sea views are in play throughout the round here.
A Troon Golf-managed facility, the Bay Course is the second to come to Costa Navarino, which also debuted the Dunes Course in 2010. Playing out of separate clubhouse, the course is a Bernhard Langer and European Golf Design collaboration. In addition to 36 holes of golf, Costa Navarino features two luxury hotels. The two side-by-side properties share a common area that features a mix of shops and restaurant. There are 16,000 olive trees on-site at Costa Navarino, including 6,000 that were transplanted during resort and golf construction.
